The support base for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State in the 2019 elections swelled again with the Isoko Patriotic Front (IPF) being the latest to kindle their avowal for the governor with a vote of confidence in his leadership style and development strides.
The socio-political group which also pledged their total commitment and support for the election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, made their position known when they visited their Grand Patron, former Secretary to Delta State Government, Comrade (Chief) Ovuozourie Macaulay at his country home in Owhelogbo, Delta state.
IPF’s National Chairman, Hon. Daniel Tutumor, said that Governor Okowa’s governance and style, had singles him out as one honed actualise the yearnings of Deltans.
Tutumor who led no fewer than 50 other members of the group on the courtesy visit said that Okowa had surpassed every expectation of Deltans in all areas, and commended governor for staying true to his promises of delivering the dividends of democracy to the people.
Tutumor described Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as a stalwart in economic matter that places him in a capable and better stead to lead Nigerians out of the mthe ess created by the opposition party.
While declaring their support for Atiku the national chairman called on Nigerians to key into the dreams and aspirations of Atiku which, he said, meant liberation of the people..
Tutumor commended the grand patron of the group, Comr. Macaulay for his support and leadership which has taken them through the deep waters of politics.
Comrade Macaulay had earlier in his welcome address, commended the group for the resilience against all odds with a promise of better times ahead.
