Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Delta APC governorship candidate in victory mood.
Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Biosafety Management Agency Olorogun (Dr) Rufus Ebegba KSJ, has congratulated Deputy President of the Senate, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege on his emergence as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress APC for the 2023 Gubernatorial Elections in Delta State.
In a statement signed by his media aide Ikechukwu Chukwudi, Dr Ebegba expressed his satisfaction and joy at the peaceful nature through which Senator Agege emerged.
He said: ” I gladly congratulate Senator Ovie Omo-Agege on his emergence as Delta State APC Gubernatorial Candidate for the 2023 elections.
“Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has shown focus, courage and an understanding of the workings of politics in Delta State, hence his emergence is testimony of how serious Delta APC is about attaining power in 2023.
“Heading to the campaigns and polls, there is no doubt that it would be an engaging and robust affair, considering that Agege has a lot under his performance record, his emergence is sure to go a long way in raising the consciousness of the party”.
Similarly, Dr Ebegba further called on party Chieftains across board to come together to deliver the state to APC.
He said: “From this development, I now humbly appeal to APC members across board in Delta State, to come together to deliver victory to the party.
” We all must be ready to compromise in the interest of the party and the welfare of Deltans, because APC is the best option at this point.
” I will continue to render my unwavering support to the party, even as I ask other leaders to set aside their grievances and push for the victory that is already within reach”.
